1
How the Co-op Works
Byrd Dawgs structure, credentials, deal flow

Welcome to Byrd Dawgs Automotive Group — the dealer group behind FlipLane. As a co-op partner, you're operating under our dealer license to buy and sell vehicles at wholesale auctions and process retail deals nationwide.

Here's how it works: Byrd Dawgs holds the dealer license and all auction credentials. You use those credentials as a co-op member to source vehicles, submit deal sheets, and run your car business — without needing to hold your own dealer license. We handle the licensing infrastructure; you handle the deals.

For every deal you run through the co-op, FlipLane charges a flat $250 processing fee. This covers title work, paperwork, and the back-office support that makes the deal clean and legal. On financed deals, profits are split 50/50 between you and the co-op after the processing fee.

Bottom line: You get dealer-level buying power and deal processing infrastructure. We get the $250 flat fee per deal (plus 50% on financed deals). Everyone wins.

2
Rules of the Road
Compliance, title transfers, what you cannot do

As a co-op partner, you agreed to our membership and indemnification agreement. Here's what that means in practice:

  • Comply with all applicable state and federal laws governing vehicle sales, advertising, and consumer protection in every state you operate.
  • Title transfers must be clean and timely. Every deal must go through the FlipLane deal submission process — no private title flips outside the co-op.
  • Odometer disclosure is required on every deal, no exceptions. Federal law, full stop.
  • No curbing. You may not sell vehicles as a private party while using co-op credentials. All transactions run through the co-op.
  • Never share dealer credentials. Auction access, login details, and co-op infrastructure are for your use only. Sharing credentials is grounds for immediate termination.

Violations of these rules — or anything covered in the indemnification agreement you signed — result in immediate membership termination. These rules protect the license that makes this whole thing work.

Running Your First Deal
Step-by-step: find, submit, process, get paid

Here's the exact playbook for processing a deal through the co-op:

  • Step 1 — Find a vehicle. Use the auction credentials in your ByrddawgsOS dashboard to browse OVE, IAAI, Copart, Edge Pipeline, and other platforms. You can also source off-market deals privately.
  • Step 2 — Submit a deal sheet. Use the Deal Submission tool in your dashboard. Include vehicle details, purchase price, buyer info, and any financing details.
  • Step 3 — FlipLane processes it. We handle the title transfer, paperwork, DMV filings, and any compliance requirements. You stay deal-focused.
  • Step 4 — Pay the processing fee. A flat $250 per deal is due upon deal submission. This is non-negotiable and non-refundable once processing begins.
  • Step 5 — Get paid. On cash deals, you keep 100% of your profit above cost + $250 fee. On financed deals, net profit is split 50/50 with the co-op after the $250 processing fee.

Financing works like this: once a deal is funded, FlipLane receives the lender payout, deducts costs and the $250 fee, then distributes your 50% share. Typical turnaround is 5-7 business days post-funding.

Pro tip: The best deals come from off-market sources and less-competitive auction lanes. Use the auction access to understand true wholesale values before you make an offer anywhere.

4
Community Standards
Who we are and how we treat each other

FlipLane is an inclusive community. We don't discriminate based on race, gender, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. That applies to how you treat other members, customers, and anyone you interact with while operating under the co-op license.

Integrity is non-negotiable. If you see something shady — another member misusing credentials, misrepresenting a vehicle, or violating the membership agreement — report it. We'd rather lose a bad actor than lose the license that keeps this co-op running for everyone.

Problems, disputes, or concerns go to win@fliplane.net. We respond to everything. Community health is everyone's responsibility.

If you represent this community well, you'll build a reputation that outlasts any single deal. That's the goal.

Simple rule: Do right by your buyers, respect your fellow members, and follow the process. The rest takes care of itself.
